Item Description
12x14.5" artboard and pair of 11.75x17.5" doubletone artboards featuring pen and ink original art for complete three-page story originally published in Big Daddy Roth #4 in May 1965 by Pete Millar (1929-2003), illustrator, cartoonist and drag racer known for his work w/CARtoons and DRAG Cartoons magazines. Art is for Moon Shot story where Big Daddy Roth and cohorts think they traveled to the moon (and plant "RF" Rat Fink flag), only to discover they never left Earth and are in fact in the Yucca Tree National Forest. First artboard has photo of lunar surface attached w/tape in first panel, w/attached sheet of paper w/original art showing rocketship in flight. Each artboard has page number and "Roth" title in blue felt tip pen at upper right or bottom left. Art remains clean and Exc. overall. From the Archives of Publisher Pete Millar.
