Item Description
7/8" w/union back stamp and bug on curl at 3 o'clock. Watson served Indiana as a member of the US House and was elected to the US Senate in 1916. As a member of the House Watson was a close ally of House Speaker Joe Cannon. This button was produced for supports of his favorite son candidacy at the 1928 RNC where he garnered 45 votes on the first ballot. Only light wear visible in reflected light. Exc. Scarce.
