Item Description
4" litho button w/6" ribbon spot glued on metal reverse. Button has moderate paint and edge wear. Ribbon has two diagonal folds. Overall extremely Fine. By the late 1950s this slogan was pop-culture commonplace thought to have originated in a 1953 Alex Graham cartoon published in The New Yorker where a pair of aliens ask a horse "Kindly, Take Us To Your President!" This fun pairing was likely produced by an imaginative vendor w/uncanny skill for melding American pop-culture and politics.
