Item Description
2.25x5-1/8" ticket stub for Game 4 of the 1969 World Series, which saw AL champions Baltimore Orioles and NL champions New York Mets battle it out. The Mets won the series, four games to one, to accomplish one of the greatest upsets in World Series history, as the 1969 Orioles were considered to be one of the finest Orioles lineups ever. The World Series win earned the Mets the nicknames "The Amazin' Mets" and "The Miracle Mets." Ticket stub is for Game 4, which took place at Shea Stadium and saw the Mets win 2-1. Stub features partial Mets logo and classic image of Mr. Met pitching. Field Level Box 269D, Seat 6. Stub has some small spots of tape staining at lower left but is o/w VF/Exc.
