Item Description
11.75x11.75" frame contains sheet of vellum w/pencil original art that has been matted to 5.25x5.25". Art is by Star Wars conceptual designer and illustrator Ralph McQuarrie (1929-2012), whose career included work on the original Star Wars trilogy, the original Battlestar Galactica TV series, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial and Cocoon, for which he won an Academy Award. Concept art features full figure image of Luke Skywalker w/lightsaber and Marksman-H combat remote from initial training session aboard the Millennium Falcon. Vellum has some lt. creases at upper left, but these do not affect art, which remains clean and displays Exc. Concept original art by McQuarrie featuring Luke Skywalker is exceedingly rare.
