Six 22" artboards feature pen and ink original art for complete six-page story from Witches Tales #17, published by Harvey Feb. 1953. Art is by Moe Marcus, a comic artist active in comic book field during the 1950s through the1970s, working for a variety of companies, mainly illustrating horror and crime stories. Art is for Creatures Of The Bomb story which sees monstrous creatures from another world released by an atomic explosion in the Nevada desert and a near hysterical humanity's efforts to defeat them w/barium-tipped spears. Artboards have inked title abbreviation and issue/page numbers at top margins w/some scattered penciling to margins. Pair of pin holes at each corner of art area, which aside from bit of dust soiling to one panel, remains clean and Exc. overall.
