Item Description
11-1/8x17" Marvel Comics artboard features pen and ink original art (w/screentone accents) for page 2 of Daredevil #269, published by Marvel Aug. 1989. Art is by John Romita Jr., known for his runs on Iron Man, Spider-Man comics and Daredevil. Art features six panels and shows Freedom Force, comprised of X-Men villains Blob, Pyro and Spiral looking for mutant girl. Top margin has inked title and issue/page numbers. Bottom left margin has been initialed in black in by Romita, who adds "'92" date. .25" edge tear to left of his initials. Fourth panel has dialogue balloon paste-over and fifth panel has one word replaced. Artboard has some corner tip wear and margin dust soiling, but art remains clean and Exc.
