Item Description
14x22" thin cardboard sign pair in black and fluorescent inks. Each features a classic custom car graphic. Signs are for the Indy Idlers 7th and 9th Annual "500" Motorama at the Indianapolis Fairgrounds, a three day event held in February annually. Show featured "America's Finest Hot Rods, Customs & Sports Cars". The 7th was in 1966 and feature custom car was Surf Woody by George Barris and the 9th was in 1968 and the car was Boot Hill Express by Ray Fahrner. Both of these cars were turned into model kits by Revell and Monogram. Boothill Express later became a Frightning Lightning car in the revival of Johnny Lightning die-cast cars. Lt. aging/handling wear. 1968 poster has upper right corner crease. Overall both display VF as unused.
