Item Description
14x22" thin cardboard sign pair in black and fluorescent inks. Each features a classic custom car graphic. Signs are for the Indy Idlers 10th and 11th Annual "500" Motorama at the Indianapolis Fairgrounds, a three day event held in February annually, 1969 show was in March. Show featured "America's Finest Hot Rods, Customs & Sports Cars". The 10th was in 1969 and feature custom car was Bathtub Buggy by George Barris and the 11th was in 1970 and the car was The Red Baron designed by Tom Daniel and built by Church Miller. Both of these cars were turned into model kits by Revell and Monogram. The Red Baron later became a legendary Hot Wheels car and was in production 1970-1977 and retooled 1993-2012. Lt. aging/handling wear. Both have minor scuffing/soiling from storage. Overall both display VF as unused.
