Item Description
20x26" on thin card stock. Oval portrait of the United Mine Workers President at center w/facsimile signature below. Vignettes in each corner labeled "Breaker Boys, Children Of The Mines, The Miners Pets" and "The Miners Automobile." Margin trimmed away w/age toning around perimeter and scattered faint moisture marks most notably at bottom center visible on close inspection. Reverse has shadow of wooden boards that once held this striking poster in a frame. Fine. Rare. The most impressive Mitchell poster we've encountered in our 54 years.
