Item Description
First example Hake's has offered. 3.5".  Sanford/Cioffi, Phila. "Permission" text on rim curl. Sanford is shown in Philadelphia Phillies uniform. He began his MLB career w/the team in 1956 but pitched in just three games. But the next year, his official rookie season, he led the National League with 188 stikeouts and claimed NL Rookie Of The Year honors (and was an All-Star).  His final year w/the team was 1958. He then played for the Giants, Angels and A's through 1967. Tiny and faint age spotting scattered arouind the rim. Still remains totally bright and glossy. VF. Paul Muchinsky Collection Book Example.
