From same set as previous 5 lots. Has W&H back paper. Presented here is manager, Hugh Jennings, who managed the Tigers from 1907-20, finishing with a won-loss record of 1,131-972 for Detroit along with winning three consecutive American League pennants from 1907-09, losing in the World Series each time. Prior to his managerial career, Hugh was a defensive whiz at shortstop from the mid-1890's through the 1900's, leading the National and American Leagues in numerous defensive categories nearly every season.
