Item Description
1.5x2.25" Cuban card produced for the Aguilitas Cigarette brand and a follow up to the 1924-25 series. The baseball cards are a subset featuring 37 players from the Cuban Professional League. This extensive 900 card set also featured movie and stage stars, boxers, soccer players and other subjects.

Jacinto "Jack" Calvo played in MLB with the Washington Senators over parts of two seasons in 1913 and 1920 with a line of .161/.250/.453, but was a regular in the Cuban League for 14 seasons. He was a member of Almendares, Habana, Orientals, and Marianao from 1913-27, including nine-plus seasons with Habana. He was elected to the Cuban Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1948. Designated by CSG as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection".
