Item Description
11.25x16.5" DC Comics artboard and pair of approx. 10.5x15.75" sheets of vellum has pen and ink original art for page in Who's Who: The Definitive Directory Of The DC Universe Vol. 1 #2, published by DC April 1985. Art is by Dick Giordano and Mike DeCarlo and artboard features total of four images, w/pair of illustrations featuring Batman's Utility Belt being all original art while two images of Batmobile and Batmobile interior at bottom being taped stats. Faint blue pencil sketch of Golden and Silver Age Batmobiles below utility belt art, which is surrounded by copious editorial notes in faint blue pencil. DeCarlo's name penciled at bottom in blue pencil. Back has DC copyright inkstamp. Artboard has some scattered lt. dust soiling and handling wear but art remains clean and Exc. Published page featured additional images of Golden and Silver Age versions of the Batmobile, for which original art of each appears one per vellum sheet. "Red Surprint" or "Blue Surprint" text in blue pencil at top and both have Giordano's name in blue pencil at bottom. Vellum has evenly aged, but art remains Exc.
