Item Description
Each button is 1.25" w/back paper naming either the "World's Most Famous Comics/Evening Ledger Every Day" or "Listen To Brother Bill/Every Day 6 P.M./WIP" (the station call letters).  Four of the 13 papers have some age tone. The only button missing from the set of 14 is the one picturing Relentless Rudolph with text "Ledger Fun Club". However, group includes  rarely seen 8x10" letter (faint folds as issued) on Evening Public Ledger stationery w/"Brother Bill" facsimile signature which came along with the "Bobby Thatcher" button designated in the letter text as "12th In The Series". Three of the 13 have some age. Mickey Mouse has two areas where the red color darkened at upper left and lower right. Still glossy and Fine. Minnie Mouse is very slightly flattened but still high gloss and no stain. VF. Felix has slightest trace of gray tone on white background from 4-9 o'clock. VF. The following 10 are Exc. to NM: Babe Bunting, Bobby Thatcher, Connie, Dan Dunn, Harold Teen, Popeye, Relentless Rudolph, Snuffy Smith, Smitty and Wimpy. These are high on the list of the most  beautiful comic character buttons ever produced. All are scarce.
