5.25x7.75" w/32 glossy pages and stiff paper cover. Published by Tarzan Clans of America in Tarzana, CA, ©1939 Edgar Rice Burroughs Inc. Back cover has a list of Burroughs' novels. Contents feature detailed text on procedures and rituals for organizing and running a Tarzan Clan, including "Tarzan Pledge, Duties of Officers, Initiation of New Members, Clan Passwords, Tarzan Clan Grip" and much more, including "English-Ape Dictionary." First and last pages have thin scattered trace along margins where a bit of the orange color was picked up from facing covers and corresponded wear to covers at these areas. Top gutter corner of pages 12-13 have 1" to 1.5" hairline crease in the paper as printed. VF overall. Comes w/unused "Tarzan Clans Of America" mailing envelope which is evenly aged and VF. Rare. Also comes w/small photocopied slip of paper from Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc. noting book as one of a "Few Survivors Of A Near-Disastrous Fire That Occurred In Our Storeroom" in 1958.
