Item Description
2.75" tall cello wrapped and silvered brass by Meek Co. Coshocton, Ohio. Reverse text side names firm while front side has wonderful depiction of full figure nude woman on a rock at water's edge with rays of light emanating from her raised hands. Image is perhaps meant to represent Amphitrite the Greek goddess of the sea and wife of Poseidon. Superb color. A stock design but scarce. Exc. Alan Weinberg Collection.
