10x13” with 52 pages. Saalfield Publishing Co. 1907. Hardcover. Second page of book is photo image of George McManus, creator of The Newlyweds along with his creations. McManus has hand-drawn a sketch of Baby Snookums with toy soldier and word bubble reading “Da!” He signed his stylized signature and added “07” in purple ink. Cover has some aging and color rubs with corner tip wear and some areas of staining to cloth binding. Back cover has moderate aging. Pages retain a clean and bright appearance. VF/Exc. Cover is Fine. A classic book w/choice example of original McManus art.
