Item Description
1.25" w/"Compliments Of C.D. Kenny Co." W&H back paper. TR arrived in New York Harbor June 18, 1910 returning from his extended African safari and a tour of Europe. He was greeted by NYC Mayor William Gaynor, Cornelius Vanderbilt, Henry Cabot Lodge and William Loeb and a parade was held in his honor. A less than .5" diagonal hairline scratch in field at 3 o'clock seen in reflected light. Otherwise only light wear w/strong color. Exc. A perennial collector favorite.
