Item Description
.75" and 1.5". Smallest is gilt badge w/hinged vertical pin on reverse. Logo of eagle above balanced scales and clasped hands w/text "A. A. Of I And S. W. (Amalgamated Association Of Iron And Steel Workers). NM. Second is brass hanger w/serial number at center and holed for suspension. Text "Carnegie Steel Co. Homestead Works" on front. Surface wear and softening of details from moderate use. VF. Both items date from around the time of the 1892 Homestead Strike, one of the most violent labor disputes in US history.
