Item Description
1.25" w/design attributed to Sylvia Pankhurst who was responsible for several designs issued by the Women's Social and Political Union (WSPU). A suffragette advances from open prison cell doors, broken chains at her feet w/doves below. Moderate surface wear and a moisture stain at 2 o'clock that just extends into design. Otherwise, light fading of purple border but not distracting from the powerful central graphic. Fine. Rare.
