Item Description
From the same set as lot #782. Card front reads "Santa Clara B.B.C. Currie-Pitcher." Rube Currie starred for Santa Clara during in the 1923-24 season, finishing with a mound record of 10-5. Currie was one of the top Negro League pitchers of the 1920s starring for championship teams, the Hilldale Daisies and the Kansas City Monarchs.
