Item Description
From the same set as lot #782. Card front reads "Santa Clara B.B.C Mesa-Outfielder." Pablo "Champion" Mesa was a member of the Cuban Stars great outfield trio that he formed with Martin Dihigo and Alejandro Oms during the 1920s. He was inducted into the Cuban Baseball HOF in 1964.
