Item Description
From the same set as lot #782. Card front reads "Almendares B.B.C. Dreke-Outfielder". Dreke, from 1918-1928, was a star with the Cuban Stars and Almendares Scorpions until he died tragically in 1929 at just 31 of tuberculosis. Dreke was elected to the Cuban Baseball HOF in 1945. The Almendares Scorpions won the championship with Dreke in both 1924-1925 and 1925-1926.
