Item Description
From the same set as lot #782. Card front reads "Marianao B.B.C. Acostica-Pitcher". Jose Acostica played only one season in black baseball and was widely regarded as the best pitcher on the 1915 Long Branch Cubans. Jose also played three seasons of Major League Baseball for the Washington Senators and Chicago White Sox from 1920-22.
