Item Description
From the same set as lot #782. Card front reads "Marianao B.B.C. H. Scheiber-Infielder". Hank Schreiber played in the major leagues over parts of five different seasons for five different teams. He held some strange records at one time such as being the only player to play for five major league teams in five non-consecutive years, never playing on more than one team per season, and never at any point appearing in the majors in two consecutive seasons. Another record was that he played for the most major league teams without ever accumulating enough career at-bats to officially qualify as a rookie. He played one season in the Cuban Leagues for Marianao.
