Item Description
27x41" advance poster for the classic 1977 Sci-Fi film by George Lucas. Blue poster features "Star Wars" logo and tag line "A Long Time Ago In A Galaxy Far, Far Away..." w/o the additional art featured on later posters. By the time this poster was issued, the font in the title had been altered to the style that would become famous. This is style "B." 77/21-0 number in lower right corner. Poster has been rolled and exhibits a vertical line of creases approx. 5.5" from right edge that runs enitre length of poster. Scattered age spotting to margins and handling wear w/4" crease at upper left corner. Fine overall.
