Item Description
From same rare set as lot #888. Thomas Frank "Tully" Sparks. Philadelphia Phillies. He played for the team in 1897 and again from 1903 to 1910. In 1899, while with the Pirates, Sparks led the National League in relief innings pitched and ERA. Oxidation to metal collet and back. Dots of age toning on rim curl. Front has lt. wear under magnification but remains glossy. Fine. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
