Item Description
Original 6-5/8x8.5" glossy photo featuring a game action shot of Babe Ruth, diving back into first base, likely after a pickoff attempt by the pitcher. One infielder visible in the background alongside the first baseman. As is the case w/many action photos, some clarity is sacrificed, but Ruth is clearly visible. Back of photo has ink stamping for International News Photos Inc., NY. Library stamp also present and dated Nov. 26, 1934 along w/other publication marks. Remnants of paper caption remain attached. Moderate handling wear in reflected light. Top right margin has some black ink marks. Still glossy and Fine.
