Item Description
Large 2.25" with blank back paper and spring pin holding the ribbons. Front curl tiny text "Copyrighted" plus maker name "Huntzinger Co. K.C. MO." Whatever put the small brown marks on two of the three ribbons also put a .25" wide spot on the button which can be seen (over the fingertips) in the Muchinsky book (page 41 #81) but we have successfully removed 99% of the spot on the cello. Muchinsky has long note about this item being one of the few buttons to carry the name of famed boxing promoter Tex Rickard who made boxing a big money sport- Dempsey-Tunney I  gating almost $1.9M and this second fight exceeding $2.5M. One known. Ribbons Fine/Button Exc. Paul Muchinsky Collection Photo Example.
