Item Description
15.5x21.25" thin paper gameboard features Japanese renditions of Batman and Robin. Made in Japan, c. 1966. Gameboard features great full color art w/silver foil highlights. Two vertical fold lines at left/right and scattered handling wear. Fine overall but still a visually stunning piece for display. Rare as not many survived due to the thin paper these were printed on. Used as the inside front cover graphic to Bat-Manga: The Secret History Of Batman In Japan by Chip Kidd, Geoff Spear and Saul Ferris. From the collection of Chip Kidd, renowned author, graphic designer and pop culture enthusiast extraordinaire.
