Item Description
16x22" w/"1967 Portal Publications Ltd. - Litho USA" at bottom left corner. Psychedelic stylizing of cupid w/bow drawn back ready to release an arrow promoting the Valentine's Day show at the Ark in Sausalito, California featuring Moby Grape and Big Brother & The Holding Company. Edge wear, most notably scattered small crinkles along left edge. Reverse has ink stamp "Cupid" at top that does not show through to front. Corner crease at bottom right and left and horizontal bends from rolling. Fine. Joplin had only joined Big Brother in June of 1966 w/this Feb. 14 show occurring barely four months before the band played its legendary set at the Monterey Pop Festival.
