Item Description
Small 11x11" first and only printing poster sleeved by CGC, for Feb. 14, 1968 concert at The Carousel Ballroom, featuring The Grateful Deal as well as Country Joe and The Fish. Neat Valentine's Day-theme design by Stanley Mouse features old-time Valentine card design w/hearts around borders, flying cupid by vintage photo of a man encircled in a heart. Tiny text at bottom reads "Stick To Weed It's Safe." The Carousel Ballroom was short-lived but produced some of the most coveted posters of the era including this striking design that is among the most popular. Listed in Art of Rock as plate 2.174. As for CGC restoration note, this includes "Color Touch, Reinforcement."
