Item Description
25.25x31" frame contains matted original art painted/multi-media cover and printed issue for MAD Magazine Issue #286 German Edition. April 1993. Art by Gregor Mecklenburg, German cover artist for MAD Magazine. Art is matted to 14x17.5" with a Jurassic Park spoof theme (MAD Tames the Dinos: Jurassic Quark) of Alfred E. Neuman on a ladder next to a leashed T-Rex being leaned on by an unidentified woman (possibly Sharon Stone). Art altered for cover w/figures clipped out of dollar sign background and American spoof dinosaur logo used at upper right instead. Beautifully done art in the flavor of the classic magazine. Art displays NM as created and framed.
