Item Description
19.5x72x15" deep cardboard store display for Proctor & Gamble promotional Star Wars posters, each 18-5/8x22.75" featuring art by Ken Goldhammer. Issued through Proctor & Gamble's Cascade, Cheer and Dawn products, ©1978 Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corp. Posters features images of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Rebel pilots, Stormtroopers, C-3PO and R2-D2, Sandpeople and Jawas as well as the Death Star, X-Wings and TIE Fighters and the Millennium Falcon. Display is complete w/cardboard dividers/sleeves for displaying posters. Display features image of each poster as well as larger image of C-3PO and R2-D2 at top alongside product images. Bottom front of display has product name/logos. Back has some inking, likely from store after collector inquired about it. Display has some scattered wear w/separation where lower left is attached to back. Some scattered color touch-ups on poster bin and top, but o/w VF. Comes w/eight examples of each poster, which are rolled. A few have lt. edge/corner tip wear but are o/w Exc. to NM. Rare display.
