Item Description
11x17" offset print on thin stock produced before the show for promotion. Designed by Mike King signed in print "MXK 87" at lower right. Promoting a "Fri Oct 2" concert at "Pine Street Theater" in Portland, OR w/additional act "Obituaries." Art featuring image of Sonic Youth bassist Kim Gordon and guitarist Thurston Moore. Minor handling bend at lower left, otherwise only trivial handling. Exc. Supporting their album Sister, the Phillip K. Dick inspired concept album, that saw the New Yorker noise rockers in transition from their no-wave roots tilting towards art rock. Though it is often overshadowed by their 1988 follow-up masterpiece Daydream Nation, Sister is considered among the best indie rock albums of the 1980s.
