Item Description
3" tall. 3.5" dia. at top. Likely produced in France. Porcelain w/gold leaf accents, bright polychrome portrait and name below. A .25x1/8"chip just above handle on the opposite side of portrait. VF. We are aware of similar Taylor and Jefferson cups from this service that date to the 1840s. A beautiful display piece featuring the Accidental President for which it is notoriously difficult to obtain period artifacts. Mike Nichols Collection.
