Item Description
1-1/16" (26mm) embossed frame. Stable emulsion crazing in reflected light. Extremely Fine. Typically this shell is found featuring cardboard image of the 1876 candidates (see lots #137-138) but here features ferro image of the 1872 Liberal Republican candidate. We offered a matching Grant in our Feb. 2021 auction. Rare. Mike Nichols Collection.
