Item Description
1-1/2x1-5/8" embossed tin buckle w/7/8" (23mm) brass shell at center. Ferro is slightly dark as made w/tiny spot of missing emulsion at extreme outer edge 7 o'clock. Otherwise moderate wear from light use. Fine. Despite these issues this example is among the finest of the less than 10 we have encountered in our 55 years. An impressive example of this especially rare and desirable 1860 campaign piece.
