Item Description
1.25" w/Phila. Badge back paper issued to promote the 1939 Universal movie serial starring Buster Crabbe. Text reads "Buck Rogers - Strange World Adventures Club" and shows Crabbe in space helmet w/rocket ship in bkg. and faint figure of a man at lower right. Button was issued along w/membership card by movie theaters. One of only ten we've seen in our 55 years. Minor loss of brass luster from reverse collet but a beautiful high gloss NM example with almost no surface wear. Our past few sales of this button have been in the $1,000 to $2,000 range. Scarce.
