Item Description
5.25" dia. and 3/8" thick. Cast iron. Liberty on the front, designed in the likeness of a Morgan silver dollar, surrounded by ten stars and text "Sixteen To One 1897." Reverse has eagle w/slogans "Free Coinage, One Dollar" and "In Bryan We Trust." Soft details as made from casting. Otherwise only minor handling. Exc. as made. Massive and heavy making it an ideal representative example of the satirical dollars distributed during the 1896 campaign.
