Item Description
2-5/8x5-1/2". Lacquered stogie case w/color depiction of Clay. "The American Statesman Come Every Whig, Your Influence Brings/On This Eventful Day, And May The Western Vallies Ring/With Shouts For Henry Clay." Includes original removable insert to hold cigars. Lacquered finish is crazed as expected. Discoloration and scattered wear noted in reflected light. Edge chip on reverse bottom. VG. Remains an attractive specimen of the 1844 campaign that displays nicely.
