Item Description
Each is 7/8" with a varnished glossy back paper by maker Whitehead & Hoag that was in use only 1896-1898. Adams was established in 1854 as a freight and cargo mover that was part of the Pony Express system. We are uncertain when National was founded. The typical express company button of the 1896 era was U.S. Express Co. Both essentially Mint and both Rare.
