2-1/8" w/"Made In USA" on curl and spring pin. Hand tinted portrait at center placed atop the gold border under the cello. Only trivial surface wear in reflected light. NM. Though the birthstone motif is often found as an advertising mirror, of the three examples of this design featuring FDR that we have encountered, none are mirrors. It is our assessment that this was issued as a button. An important FDR rarity that you won't soon have an opportunity to obtain.
