Item Description
5-3/8x7-3/8" on stiff paper. ©1948 National Comics Publications Inc. Several varieties/versions were issued over the years from about 1942 to 1973. Choice Superman illustration w/simulated wood border has facsimile "Best Wishes From Your Friend Superman" inscription. Three comic books featured on back's advertisement date 1947-1948. These include - World's Finest Comics #33, Superman #53 and Action Comics #115. Exc. Of note, the Superman #53 cover shown on back obviously differs from printed comic in that it is missing image of exploding Krypton and "Featuring The Origin Of Superman" text.
