Item Description
Pair of items signed by Kirk Alyn (1910-1999), the actor who portrayed Superman in the 1948 serial of the same name and its 1950 sequel Atom Man Vs. Superman as well as the 1952 Blackhawk serial. Vintage 8x10" publicity photo shows Alyn saluting in Blackhawk uniform and has been signed in black felt tip pen, w/Alyn adding "Best Always - 'Blackhawk'." Some corner tip wear but VF overall. Original 11x14" lobby card for Chapter 11 of the serial, "Forced Down!" shows Alyn w/fellow Blackhawk pilot and has been signed in black felt tip pen. Corner tip/edge wear but would frame for an Exc. display. Comes with JSA COAs.
