Item Description
1.25" w/W&H back paper. Button is c. 1915, the founding of this group to aid suffering Jews in Europe and the Holy Land. They sold "Relief Certificates" and likely donors received this button depicting Miss Liberty, backed by American flag, extending her hand of assistance to a group of famine stricken Jews beseeching her. Very tiny age around reverse collet. Obverse is glossy NM. Only the third offering in our 55 years.
