Item Description
2.25" without dot pattern and with facsimile artist's signature at lower left. We cannot make out the first name but the second name is "Reid." Issued for single day event "Sept. 13, 1904 Topeka, Kan." Concave  metal back with bar pin carries  name of maker "Pin-Lock." Light marks around the word "Sept." are not stain but rather small dust clouds the racehorse is kicking up. Top center has 1" diagonal air line in reflected light. High gloss, Exc. Only example we've seen and the button photographed for the book Button Power by Carter and Hake. Comes w/Hake's COA.
