1.25" w/blank navy blue back paper and fabric flag ribbon attached under spring pin. Produced for Wilson's visit to Iowa as part of his push for National Defense Preparedness leading up to US entry into WWI. Faint moisture mark on curl on extreme outer edge between "OM" of "Welcome." Otherwise only light surface wear. Extremely Fine. A rare single day event button w/historical importance. Wilson addressed 8,000 Iowans at the Des Moines Coliseum notably stating "There Is A Price Which Is Too Great To Pay For Peace, And That Price Can Be Put In One Word.
