Item Description
7" silk. Light brown moisture marks at r/l and moderate handling. Fine. We are unsure where this ribbon is from. Consigned from a Midwestern collection developed at the grass roots we surmise the possibility of it being from Plum Creek, IA, a now defunct town that had a post office between 1902 and 1904, though other possibilities remain. Wherever it hails from it's the first example we've encountered in our 55 years. Larry Brokofsky Collection.
